Club Purpose

The objective of the Club is to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The German Shepherd Dog Club of America, Inc. and The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the German Shepherd Dog is bred and judged, and to do all in our power to protect and advance the interests of the breed, and to educate with these interests in mind.

The next club meeting is a Membership Meeting on April 18th 2017 at 7:30 pm at the Iacono's Restaurant on Cemetary Rd in Hilliard. Meetings are always open to members and any interested parties.

Informal training and socialization will continue (weather permitting) until further notice OUTDOORS at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard on Tuesday evenings beginning ay 6:30.

Our spring conformation shows will be held on May 28th (the Sunday before Memorial Day) at the Magnuson Grand (formerly Best Western North) on Rt 161 at I-71. See the Show Info tab above for more details.

Our first Agility Trials were held on Feb 4th and 5th 2017, and were very successful. We will be holding three days of trials next February.

In 2016, The GSDC of Central Ohio once again placed 1st in the GSDCA newsletter competition for clubs of our size with quarterly newsletters (this is the 7th year in a row)!
